1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Rep-IQ (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Rep-IQ.

2. Description of Service

Rep-IQ is an AI-powered fitness form analysis platform offering camera-based real-time pose estimation, automatic rep counting, per-rep form scoring, AI coaching insights, personalised training plans, workout history tracking, and social features. All video analysis is processed locally on your device — no footage is transmitted to our servers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Services. By using Rep-IQ, you confirm you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@rep-iq.app if you suspect unauthorised use.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Billing: Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• Waitlist discount: Users who join the Rep-IQ waitlist prior to launch are entitled to a 20% lifetime discount on Premium, applied automatically on account creation.
• Free trial: Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand.
• Cancellation: Cancel at any time via account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
• Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
• Price changes: We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase, during which you may cancel without penalty.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Services
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Services
• Circumvent access restrictions, security features, or subscription paywalls
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, trademarks, and materials in or related to Rep-IQ are the exclusive property of Rep-IQ or its licensors. You retain ownership of your personal workout data. By using the Services, you grant Rep-IQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use your anonymised and aggregated data to improve the platform.

8. Health & Safety Disclaimer

Rep-IQ is a fitness technology tool, not a medical device or substitute for professional medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any new exercise programme, particularly if you have a pre-existing condition. Rep-IQ’s form analysis is designed to assist with technique and is not a guarantee against injury. You use the Services entirely at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rep-IQ’s total liability shall not exceed the greater of (a) total fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100. Rep-IQ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time via account settings. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Services would create legal risk. Provisions that by nature should survive termination shall do so.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
